The National Day of Norway and the 200th anniversary of the Norwegian Constitution and to bid Farewell

On the night of 15 May 2015, TSCC was invited to participate in the National Day of Norway and the 200th anniversary of the Norwegian Constitution and to bid farewell to H.E.Katja Christina Nordgaard, Norwegian Ambassador to Thailand and Cambodia.

In 1814, Norway got its first Constitution on 17 May before officially declaring its independence later, therefore 17 May became recognized as both the Constitution and the National Day. This year is more special for Norwegian Embassy in Thailand as it coincide with the Ambassador term expiration, thus it decided to pull all occasions to be celebrated on the night. The celebration was taken place at Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel with hundreds of honoured guests. H.E. Katja C. Nordgaard appeared herself in a traditional Norwegian costume “folkedrakt” which was impressive in displaying the Norwegian festive occasion. In addition, there were buffet provided various kinds of foods and drinks, accompanied by great performances from musician and singer who showed Norwegian traditional music and songs.

TSCC would extend our genuine appreciation in being part of the celebration and looking forward to seeing further events. Also, we wish H.E. Katja C. Nordgaard a bon voyage and doing well further in wherever you go.
