1 April 2021 – IKEA Thailand, led by Mr. Tom Suter (center), IKEA Bang Yai Store Manager, is continuing to increase convenience for Thai customers, enabling them to design their dream homes more easily by opening the “IKEA Planning Studio” at IKEA Bang Yai. The planning studio is a one-stop service solution for IKEA Family members. Available services include a planning service that’s free of charge, payment, and other services (picking, delivery & assembly, measurement, and installation services), together with consultants and services for B2B customers.
A special promotion to welcome the “IKEA Planning Studio will take place from April 1 – May 4, 2021. IKEA Family members who conduct planning services and make 10,000 baht in purchases from the METOD, PAX or BESTA series (including lighting accessories) will receive a 1,000-baht IKEA gift card (with no limit on maximum spending).
Mr. Tom Suter, IKEA Bang Yai Store Manager said, “IKEA planning services have become very popular. Therefore, we adjusted the service model to better facilitate our customers. Starting at IKEA Bang Yai, we allocated store space to open the ‘IKEA Planning Studio,’ combining kitchen, living room and wardrobe planning services, together with other IKEA services such as payment, delivery and installation, among others. This one-stop service will help customers save time while IKEA experts can assist them in decorating their dream home. A reception area and a children’s play area is available for families. The IKEA Planning Studio is an important way for IKEA to increase convenience and inspire Thai customers so they can have a home that meets their needs and more easily provides functions for every member. In addition, we provide B2B services and consultancy for companies who are looking to furnish their business spaces, called ‘IKEA for Business.’ It is integrated into the IKEA Planning Studio with dedicated teams of sales specialists and interior designers to advise and work closely with the customer’s team.”
The customer journey at the IKEA Planning Studio:
