Swedish Companies  are Championing Sustainable Business

Swedish companies ABB and  Volvo were championing sustainability at the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week (ASE) 2019 which was held at Bitec Bangna from 5 to 8 June.  ASE is ASEAN’s  largest and most comprehensive renewable energy, environmental and energy efficiency exhibition.  The show focused on the latest renewable energy programs, trends and development including green energy opportunities for entrepreneurs.   It  featured the latest innovative energy sources including machinery and equipment.  The show highlighted renewable energy sources and the latest technology in areas such as wind and solar power,  thermal and waste-to-energy, bio-mass and other green technologies, renewable energy and energy efficiency.  Hydro-powered programs were also covered.


Volvo Group

Mr.  Artorn Tongkliang, Director Quality and Environment  and Ms.  Jiranan Nuangjhumnong, Environment  Officer at Thai-Swedish Assembly visited  the exhibition . Volvo Group is currently making  great efforts to minimize its environmental footprint by using more renewable energy at their factory.






ABB was at the exhibition showcasing their new products.  This included ABB PV + Storage, REACT 2 energy storage solution and the award winning three-phase PVS-175 string inverter.
