Invitation to VETnet Follow Up Conference: Sep 8th, 2016

International Conference on Dual Vocational Education and Training (DVET):
Achievements & Challenges of DVET project in Thailand

EVENT OVERVIEW:

Dual Vocational Education and Training (DVET) is highlighted as one of the most important strategies to boost Thailand’s economic growth. German-Thai Dual Excellence Education (GTDEE) Project is funded by VETnet to implement German dual vocational education system in Thailand.

The main tasks of GTDEE are to lead companies and technical colleges operating in Thailand to provide demand-driven apprenticeship to students, to ensure companies and colleges find a systematic and ongoing exchange of theoretical and practical experiences and engage in common training development activities.

After over 3 years of GTDEE operation, this conference is the stage to summarize and cluster the expectations, achievements, challenges, and goals among the different parties involved in the implementation of DVET in Thailand. Join us for what will be the agent of changes in the Thai education-scape as we debate the challenges and possible solutions in DVET.
