Ericsson recognized by Thailand’s Commerce Ministry for its Compliance Program, Wednesday 17 August, 2022

The SweCham team would like to congratulate our member Ericsson (Thailand) Ltd. on being recognized and certified by Thailand’s Commerce Ministry (MOC) for its Internal Compliance Program (ICP)!

The program awards companies for the best practice governing ways of working with trade-related issues, to be used in the control of goods when crossing a country border, to ensure a consistent and documented handling of the operations.

Our very own board governor Khun Igor Maurell, Head of Ericsson Thailand responded to the award: “It is nice to be recognized by the Thai government for the emphasis Ericsson puts on responsible business practices. We are committed to doing business with integrity and transparency and being a responsible corporate citizen.”

Ericsson is among 26 organizations recognized for their Internal Compliance Program, receiving an honorable certificate from MOC. The SweCham team fully supports Ericsson in its quest to be at the forefront of compliance and sustainable business practices.
