COVID-19 Antigen test self-test kits are now available to be purchased for home use.

The National Communicable Disease Committee (NCDC) has approved the use of the Antigen test kits. This has also been published in the Royal Gazette.

On 12 July, Anutin Charnvirakul Thailand’s Public Health Ministry’s announced that the National Communicable Disease Committee (NCDC) had already approved the use of the Antigen test kits, which has also been published in the Royal Gazette.

Next week, the kits will be distributed at hospitals, health clinics, pharmacies, and other outlets authorised by the country’s Food and Drug Administration (TFDA), enabling consumers to test for COVID-19 at home to limit the virus’s spread.

Online sellers of the kits have been advertised even before the Public Health Ministry’s announcement, with prices per piece set between 220-700 Baht.
