The TSCC would like to thank Anna Hallberg and Carl-Henric Svanberg for sharing their perspectives on Sweden trade at yesterday’s Webinar organised by the Swedish Chambers of Commerce in APAC.
We also would like to sincerely thank our members for your participation along with many attendees from all over the APAC region with overall nearly 500 attendees!
The Trade Minister Anna Hallberg was very pleased to be able to have a dialogue with the Swedish Chambers and the Swedish companies in the region. She suggested that, although the overall trade has fallen, there are signs of recovery especially in China and other parts of Asia which have started to open up again.
The CEO of Volvo, Carl-Henric Svanberg commented that there will not be a cold war since the countries’ economies are so interdependent and international trade will continue in the future. He also expects the global trade to recover, albeit this might not happen next year.
We hope that you enjoyed the webinar and look forward to welcoming you in our upcoming events. Stay tuned!
