On Thursday, 9 November, the SweCham Team supported the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok at the European Language Café. The event had a total of 16 European member states participating. Attendees enjoyed learning and practising pronunciations of idioms and expressions from the Swedish language. Participants tried to say phrases such as ‘Säger man A får man säga B’ (If you say A you have to say B). This means that if you have started saying something, you must finish the story.
The event was a great opportunity to learn new European phrases. In addition to the language learning activities, there were also some games and snacks from Sweden and other countries adding to the fun and engaging atmosphere!
We hope everyone had a great time and gained some ‘nya’ (New) Swedish words or phrases. Thank you to everyone who participated in this wonderful event, and we look forward to seeing you again next time!
