On 11 November, the Swedish cancer care specialist introduced SPECTRA (Sustainability Practice for Enhancing Cancer Treatment in Radiotherapy) at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.  This initiative, supported by Japan External trade Organization (JETRO), aims to elevate treatment planning quality, fostering improved clinical outcomes for diverse cancer cases through an educational program in Thailand, powered by a sustainable cloud platform.  With a sharp focus on prevalent cancer types like Cervical, Breast, Lung, and Liver, SPECTRA is set to make a significant impact on cancer care.

We were honoured to have our President, Mr. Peter Björk, and Executive Director Dr. Pojanath Bhatanacharoen, present insights on Cancer Care in Sweden at this momentous occasion.  Supporting a Swedish company dedicated to such a vital cause is a privilege, knowing the far-reaching positive effects it will have on people's well-being.

Special thanks to the Elekta Team, Mr. Marco Lee, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific Japan, Mr. Yohei Watanabe, Head of Marketing – APJ, Mr. William Starbuck, Clinical Project Lead, Intercontinental Region, and Ms Fanny Suen,Marketing Communication Specialist, for the invitation to this significant event.

It was also a pleasure meeting Associate. Prof. Dr. Chonlakiet Khorprasert, President of THASTRO, Chulalongkorn University, Mr. Akira Miyakoshi, Vice President, JETRO, and Khun Oranuch Patummasoot, Sales Manager at Elekta Limited (Thailand).  We eagerly anticipate the opportunities to further enhance collaboration to advance cancer care in Thailand.
