Combating Corruption: Strategies for Improving Thailand’s Corruption Perceptions Index

On 24 July, the SweCham Team attended an anti-corruption conference organised by the Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) in collaboration with the Research and Consulting Institute of Thammasat University.  

Industry representatives and pertinent stakeholders, both domestic and international, were brought together to raise awareness of strategies to improve Thailand’s Corruption Perceptions Index assessment, indicating a pressing need to address the country's corruption situation. Key discussions included the introduction of blockchain and AI technologies as innovative solutions to minimise unwanted behaviour and enhance transparency.
