TSCC Special Lunch Seminar on Climate Change in the Arctic with Professor Kim Holmén, 30 Oct
At this lunch seminar, Professor Kim Holmén (International Director of the Norwegian Polar Institute (NPI) held a discussion about the recent developments of climate change in the Arctic and the effects of climate change on biodiversity. He described how the changes have consequences for nature and humans both creating challenges but also new opportunities. Some of the dilemmas was said to be emerging in the crossroads between challenges, opportunities and increased geo-political interest.
The Swedish Ambassador Staffan Herrström and TSCC’s President Eric Hallin was there to greet Professor Kim Holmén and listen to the much important topic that was being discussed.
